BSI has a long history of providing EW training solutions to the USAF. Our first mission rehearsal simulations were used by the USAF as far back as 1996. And since 2004, all undergraduate USAF Electronic Warfare Officers (EWOs) and Combat Systems Officers (CSOs) have trained using BSI's simulations. Key capabilities in our EW simulations include:
- Parametrically Generated Audio: emitter audio is generated on-the-fly based on emitter's beam, pulse and scan characteristics -- which are all user-definable.
- Physics-based: Bomb ballistics, surface-to-air and air-to-air missile flyouts, energy-based aircraft flight models, terrain-based Line-of-Sight (DTED and SRTM), propagation loss, two-way radar range calculations and mode-specific threat behavior included!
- GIS-enabled: Pan, Scale or Zoom anywhere on Earth. Support for all the most common GIS formats, including NGA's aeronautical charts (GNC, JNC, ONC, TPC) in CADRG format; GeoTiff and Vector formats (VPF and SHP).
