BSI offers the Viper DIS Radio Simulation as a low-cost, reliable alternative to more expensive, non Windows-based DIS radios. Features include:

• Support for 9 simultaneous transmit/receive frequencies
• Push-To-Talk (use either a joystick button or a mouse click)
• VOX
• Support for Half-Duplex audio
• DIS standard 8-bit Mu-Law encoding
• 16-bit Linear PCM encoding
• Custom encoding (sample rate, bit depth and # of channels)
• Set radio power and signal bandwidth as well as frequency
• Control frequency via X-Plane.
